When you make a booking or enquire with us, we usually need to collect certain information about you which may include dates of birth, any medical conditions, scanned copies of your passport and so on. These are used to operate the tour, for example in obtaining any visa support documents, obtaining travel permits or making flight bookings, and are shared with our local partners in the destination that you visit. They may also be shared with local authorities in the destination, for example if a scanned copy of a passport is required by them in order to issue a travel permit which is necessary for the fulfilment of the services we are providing.
This information is usually stored digitally, but also in the form of hard copies, such as paper booking forms.
We keep this information for a limited time after you have travelled – usually about three months – at which point it is deleted from our records. Where and when appropriate, personal data is shredded, and digital records are purged.
