We’re hiring….

We are currently recruiting for a travel consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience in the travel industry, preferably with a good knowledge of Africa and Asia, and will be educated to degree level.

Responsibilities will include:

- liaising with clients about our selection of tours, and taking bookings

- liaising with our overseas suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of our trips on the ground

- updating marketing material

- post-sales admin to include visa support, in-house and client documentation

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an excellent level of written and spoken English, and should have the ability to deal with a fast paced environment, and work well under pressure. Flexibility, imagination, patience and determination are required to deal with a variety of situations, and a high degree of commitment is required.

Applicants should be proficient with Word and Excel.

Previous experience in a customer facing role within the travel industry will be highly desirable, but not necessarily essential for the right candidate who is willing to learn. As well as this preference would be given to applicants with extensive travel experience.

Full time role. Salary from £22-28k dependent upon experience.
